What services do you offer for abortion recovery?
There are two main ways we support women and men who have experienced one or more abortions.
1. Rachel’s Vineyard - this is a Friday through Sunday retreat held locally in an intimate, nature setting. They’re an intimate group of participants that have a similiar history to emotionally and spiritually heal together in various ways. It’s not easy to describe, but it is easy to see what a huge positive impact it has on those who attend! All lodging and meals are free, and everything is kept confidential. We’d love to talk over the phone to tell you more about it.
2. Forgiven & Set Free Bible Study - this is a multi-week study that takes place one on one or in a small group setting. Women and men experience a wealth of insight into how a past abortion decision impacts their life, and how God’s grace can impact their future. This is another positive experience that costs nothing for the particpant and is also confidential. -
Is there an age limit or gender limit?
There is no age limit on who can receive post-abortion support. If you had one or more abortions three decades ago, you would not be the first. If your abortion was a week ago, you would not be the first. Regardless if you are male, female, old, young, or when your abortion occured, there is a place for you.
Since an abortion decision touches the lives of many people, including the mother, father and those in their inner circle, we often see grandparents, brothers, or friends who had a direct or indirect experience with abortion loss. -
How is it free?
We don’t believe that money should stop someone from receiving post-abortion support, so we will never charge for Bible studies or retreats.
Thanks to community organizations, Church congregations, businesses and individuals who have a heart for those with a past abortion, all expenses are covered by donors who support Hope Pregnancy Centers. Hope is faith-based 501(c)3 organization that receives no profit or financial incentive for post-abortion care. -
Do I have to be religious to take part?
Hope Pregnancy Center is a faith-based organization, but we do not require or coerce anyone to have a particular faith to take part in abortion recovery support, nor do we withhold support from those who are not faith-based. Our cirriculum is faith-based to address the deep-seated spiritual impact abortion has on another human being. We believe that every human has immeasureable value, and our highest aim is that you feel respected and loved.
